Signal Mountain Guides have grown up and hunted in New Hampshire thier entire lives. We have a passion for the outdoors. We spend all our free time participating in outdoor activities all year long.

Scott Mooney is the owner operator of SMGS. He spent his childhood roaming, hunting and fishing the North Country of New Hampshire. Scott has been a New Hampshire Fish and Game employee working on the New Hampshire Bear Project. He is a Fulltime firefighter and EMT. When there is no hunting season, Scott can be found in the woods around Errol hiking, looking for sheds or riding the hundreds of miles of ATV trails behind his camp In Errol and Millsfield. Scott is an ATV Guide and one of the upland bird guides, hunting his  English Setter Sig.

Josh Borgeson has a Bachelors of Science degree in Wildlife Management from the University Of New Hampshire.  He has worked on New Hampshire F and G Moose Project in the past and knows their habitat as well as the entire North Country. Josh is also an avid hunter and fisherman is one of our upland bird guides and guides with his English Setter Jack. Josh also offers Pheasant hunts in Southern New Hampshire.

Jake Borgeson has a Bachelors of Science degree in Wildlife Management from the University Of New Hampshire.  Jake has also done extensive work in the North Country working for the Fish and Game Depart ment. Jake can sweet talk the moose with his calling abilities, is another one of our upland bird Guides hunting with his English Setter Alder. Jake is also a registered Maine fishing guide fishing the Western Maine area.

Jerry Hendricks is always in a battle with Craig Borgenson on who can find the most Sheds. Jerry grew up Hunting and has a passion for moose and bear. Jerry is in the woods year around looking for moose Sheds and learning their patterns. He has extensive knowledge of the hunting A2, B, C2 and C1. Jerry is also one of our upland hunting guides hunting with his English Setter Wheeler, and is also one of our ATV tour guides.

Craig Borgeson is a master moose caller, he has a way of sweet talking in those pesky bulls. Craig also spends most of his free time shed hunting in the zones we hunt. Craig is also a life long hunter and has taken on a new hobby of making European mounts.

Jim Fortin is another life long hunter in the northcountry, and is a master at getting the big boys out. Jim has extensive knowledge of the areas we hunt and spends most of his free time away from the asphalt.

Mark Dickson is the head Moose extractor. Mark puts his Polaris 6X6 where some skidders cant go. Mark uses all the tools from the Polaris to chainsaw winches and chain saws down to the 2400' of moose rope to pully a big boy out.

Signal Mountain Guides primarily hunt in zones A2, B, C2, C1 and A. We do offer upland bird hunts in central and southern New Hampshire for Pheasant. We can tailor most any type of hunt you would like to do. We offer extreme discounts to IAFF members (even free) on occasion. Our guides have a passion for what we do, and always conduct ourselves in an ethical and legal way. No all guide services and say that.
